This chalkboard car was quite the find in Long Beach, CA. The car was painted with a primer, and had cup of chalk attached to the side with a welcoming note of, "write on me!"

Everyday Project...Earring Frame

There is the shop in Flagstaff that has used a giant frame backed with metal screen material to displays the dangle earrings they sell. Ever since I saw it, I've wanted to make one of my own...so I finally did!

I used a staple gun to staple the screen to the back on the frame

This frame works best to display hook earrings, since you have to lift the frame off the wall to remove stud earring backings.

Embracing Phoenix...Punch Brothers @ Crescent Ballroom

On Wednesday, December 5th Punch Brothers performed at the Crescent Ballroom in downtown Phoenix, and it spoke to my soul. I've heard that, while the recorded musical stylings of the Punch Brothers are magical, seeing this Bluegrass band preform live is inspirational, and this December 5th performance did not disappoint.

A friend and I were caught at Craferteria on December 7th in Phoenix by an azcentral.com photographer. This craft fair had tons of handmade and local goodies just in time for holiday shopping, as well as a delicious hot dog food truck.
